poly 50 has officially ended. with lots of things left hanging in the air -
anger, tears, injustice, disappointment, injustice, heavy hearts, and oh, have i mentioned injustice?
the race started out good. track and field
team zoom (team 1) was leading by 5 laps or so.. leading well and good. then the lab counters messed up and pulled back their timing. nevertheless, they still caught up and were definately leading. but in the end, the bloody
dragonball suddenly won. how in the world cld they have overtaken team zoom
w/o ANY of the 10 runners noticing? to quote
captain zeng:"they not only dig water, they dig ground too." by means of some undergrd tunnel, they have won us. [note: metaphor used. lol.]
then, in the middle, the lab counters messed up agn for
team quiksilver (track team 2). that is the most injust of all. they gave our male runners a red card meant for the female runners during a male's lap of the race. when confronted at the moment, they refused to explain or check and urged us to go. what esle can we do, except to go? time was crucial in a race. and so, they kept running. only to be told at the end, after coming in 4th, that they were disqualified. after talking so much, still, no justice was given. the fault clearly lies with the lab counters and the organisers refused to point-blank see it. wtf.
why do organisers nv reflect upon themselves and see that the fault doesnt lie with us runners but them? reasons and explanations were given. VALID and supported with evidence! but yet, no justice was given.
tell me. how do we trust the organisers in any other events afterwhich? mind u, sp aint very big. our staffs are limted. and therefore, the chances of the same ppl organising another event is damn freaking high. u want us to trust u back?

on a lighter note,
team zoom got 2nd placing for the race, although they should be the rightful owner of the
FIRST PLACING! no thanks to the low-down, filthy,
ground-digging dragon ball team. BOO to them! >p
anyways,
team swoosh (track team 3), MY team. did well! applauds to u guys! realli wonderful, all of u! we did great!! and im proud that all of u din give up!! =D we got 11th placing, but hey! its the great teamwork that matters ya?!=)) rock on!!
SP TRACK ROCK SOCKS!! i salute and applaud all of you guys in
team zoom, quiksilver and swoosh! we are all winners! no matter wat the outcome was, is or will be, we take things in our stride.
lets walk with our heads held up, stand tall and proud. we noe that ultimately, we are the REAL winners cos we have INTEGRITY! show them all that SP TRACK members are no pushovers!
im loosing steam. hahah. im damn happy cos of a certain hug given. hahah. =)) but i wont look into too much details. lol` alrite. shall concentrate on other stuffs... lol. *beams*
